South Boddington Gold Project

The South Boddington Project is a 100%-owned gold exploration asset located approximately 150km south-east of Perth in Western Australia.

The project is situated along strike from the Boddington Gold Mine, one of Australia’s largest gold deposits, and lies within the prospective Saddleback Greenstone Belt.

WAU’s tenure is interpreted to host similar geological and structural features to those associated with the Boddington deposit. The belt remains relatively underexplored for gold, providing potential for the discovery of additional mineralisation along strike.

Geophysical interpretation has identified magnetic low features within the project area that are considered analogous to those associated with the Boddington system. These features provide a basis for target generation and support the prospectivity of the project.

The project comprises exploration licence applications that are being progressed, with planned work focused on advancing geological understanding and refining targets for future exploration programs.
